2002 - 2003

The Delta Canine Good Citizen Instructors Course is a fifteen month course in reward-based dog training, formally described as the Delta Certificate IV in Dog Behavioural Training, and organised by Delta Society Australia.

This structured, competency-based program of instruction in positive reinforcement dog training involves two weeks of intensive, hands-on training and more than 400 hours of practical and written assignments conducted by distance education over a 18 month period. The course content includes basic and advanced dog training, dog health management, first aid for dogs and management of dog behaviour.
